Pizza dough spread into a circular pizza pan.

1 Hour Pizza Dough

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Rise Time 45 minutes
Total Time 1 hour 5 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 tsp Rapid Rise Yeast 7 grams
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Water warm, but not hot
  • 2 cups Bread Flour add 2 TB for handling if desired!

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F / 220 C.
  2. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Set on the stovetop and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. After letting it sit, add the bread flour and salt and mix to combine.
  4. Knead the dough in the bowl for 5 minutes. It will be kind of sticky!
  5. Return the bowl to the stovetop and let the dough rise for 45 minutes.
  6. Spread the dough on a greased pizza pan.
  7. Bake the dough at 425F for 5 minutes before adding any toppings.
  8. Enjoy!
