Parsley and Sage Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Carrots
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Sage
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter we use unsalted!

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F or 190 C.
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them in half lengthwise. From there, cut your carrot so that each piece is roughly 2 inches (5 cm) long.
  3. Place the carrots on a baking sheet and coat in the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Roast for 25 minutes.
  5. Mince the fresh herbs and set aside.
  6. Combine the butter, brown sugar, and roasted carrots in a saucepan and cook for 10 minutes on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add the fresh herbs and cook for 2 more minutes.
  8. Enjoy!
